ATLANTA, Ga. – Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund (TPPCF) Chairman Jenny Beth Martin today released the following statement, announcing that the Super PAC associated with the nation’s largest Tea Party group has endorsed U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador for reelection to his seat representing Idaho’s First Congressional District.
“Since being elected to Congress in 2010, Raul Labrador has been a leader for the kind of Constitutional conservatism Tea Party Patriots has worked to defend and promote in the Congress: individual liberty, limited government, and free market economics. Like us, he wants to expand personal and economic freedom and return to a debt-free future. He has worked to cut taxes and cut spending, and has fought to repeal ObamaCare and its insidious effects both on our nation’s economy and our nation’s healthcare. Congressman Labrador has demonstrated regularly and repeatedly that he has the courage necessary to stand up for his constituents and his beliefs, even when that means standing against his party leadership. That’s the kind of courage we need more of in Washington.
