Last month was the wettest month ever for Spokane.  Washington State University meteorologist Nic Loyd reports that over 6.2 inches of rain fell in the Lilac City in October making it the wettest month ever in the last 135 years.  Spokane got more rain last month than what fell from February through September combined.  Pullman’s record rain for the month of October topped out at over 5.5 inches.
