For you hunters.

A private landowner has opened up nearly a thousand acres near Potlatch for a special youth hunting opportunity.  Only hunters 17 and younger with a license, accompanied by an adult can hunt for pheasant on the property.  The adult can also hunt with a license.  The season is open through the rest of the year.  The Gamebird Foundation recently released about 200 rooster pheasants on the property.  The private ground is being made available for this special public hunt through Idaho Fish and Game’s Access Yes! Program.  The property is West of Potlatch.  Off State Highway 6 turn left on Wellesley Road, then turn left on South River Road.  Cross the tracks and the Palouse River Bridge.  The parking lot and sign-in kiosk is on the left.
