President Trump is calling for congressional action on the nation’s immigration laws.
In a tweet early Friday morning, the president said the southern border is under siege and Congress must act now to change weak immigration laws.
He added, the nation must build a wall as Mexico is doing nothing to help prevent illegal immigration and crime.

His comments come just hours after dozens of Central American migrants were allowed into the country through the San Ysidro port of entry near San Diego.
The migrants were part of a controversial caravan, which arrived at the border last week.
