President Trump continues to tout historic low unemployment numbers, especially for African Americans, Hispanics and women.
While addressing the NRA convention in Dallas Friday, the president said 3.2 million jobs have been created since he was elected.
He also promised to protect the Second Amendment as long as he is president, and uphold the rule of law.
He told the crowd — who he called ‘true patriots’ — to not get complacent, and get out and vote in the midterms.
The president endorsed Texas candidates seeking re-election, including Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton and John Cornyn.
He went on to urge Congress to secure our borders and pass immigration reform in the upcoming spending resolution — also promising to defend our borders and make America safe again.
President Turmp seeks to stop letting people in to the country based on lottery, and start basing it on merit.
Lastly, he reiterated his support of the men and women of law enforcement.
