Bookmakers Ladbrokes has set odds of 2/1 that this month will be the coldest February ever recorded in Dundee.
A spokeswoman for the betting firm said “Weather betting is more popular in Scotland than anywhere in the UK, with the majority of bets being placed online.
“We have seen a flurry of bets on it being the coldest February on record in the Dundee area, which has been sparked by the most recent Met Office reports.”
