Moscow man accused in attempted armed robbery reaches plea deal
The Moscow man accused of attempted armed robbery has entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors. Joshua Haworth recently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor unlawful exhibition of a deadly weapon in Latah County Second District Court. Haworth was sentenced to 10 days in jail and credited for time already served. He was released from jail and placed on supervised probation for a year.
Haworth was initially arrested for felony aggravated assault by Moscow Police on August 27th. He threatened to shoot a man during a dispute over a hundred dollars. The incident occurred at the Identity apartment complex construction site in South Moscow on the 26th. Haworth displayed 2 handguns from under his vest to the victim. He then fled the scene through nearby Gritman Medical Center which led to the hospital being placed on lockdown for several hours.
