Annual Pullman Community 4th of July Celebration in Sunnyside Park will wrap up Tuesday’s festivities

Of interest to Moscow-Pullman residents.

There will be several 4th of July celebrations on the Palouse Tuesday.  It all starts with America’s craziest 4th of July parade in Johnson.  The Johnson Parade gets underway at 10:00 in the small hamlet South of Pullman.  The Albion 4th of July parade starts at Noon followed by lunch for 7 dollars in the park.  Noon is also when the Moscow 4th of July Celebration and Mutt Strut begins.  The event is downtown in Friendship Square until 1:00 and there will be free popsicles.  The Endicott Old-Fashioned 4th of July includes several activities Tuesday afternoon before fireworks at dusk.

The Pullman Community 4th of July Celebration in Sunnyside Park begins with a BBQ at 5:00.  The Community Band of the Palouse will take the stage at 5:00 followed by folk singer Dan Maher.  The Fabulous Kingpins will perform starting about 7:30 right up to the fireworks at dusk choreographed to music on New Country 104.3 FM.  Pullman Transit will once again be providing free shuttles to and from Sunnyside Park.  Remember all sales in the park go toward helping to pay for the fireworks, so come hungry.  No personal fireworks are allowed at the park and organizers ask that people leave their dogs at home.
