The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert for the entire Inland Northwest. The forecast is calling for unhealthy air or worse until Wednesday at Noon. Air quality in Pullman this morning is very unhealthy. The NWS reports that our smoke is coming from regional fires out of the Southwest, Northwest and Northeast. High pressure is forcing the smoke low to the ground in the region.
