Thanks goodness! Heaven forbid someone shows up in a Donald Trump costume.

The University of Idaho wants to help people select a culturally sensitive and politically correct Halloween costume.  Special presentations entitled “Fright Night Keep it Right:  Don’t mess up when you dress up!” will be held Thursday on the UI campus.  The directors of the UI’s Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Native American Student Center will lead the presentations.  According to a post on the UI website the duo will “provide context for a critical dialogue on cultural appropriation, cultural sensitivity and awareness”.  The presenters will also “engage attendees in understanding various forms of stereotyping while exploring the sociopolitical and cultural ramifications of these acts and behaviors”.  The presentations are Thursday from 11:30 to 12:30 and again from 5:00 to 6:00 inside the UI’s Administration Building room 217.
