Sen. Paul’s New Book Explores The History Of Socialism, Negative Implications

RANDI just ordered his book myself to read.

The implications of socialism are a “feature” of the system. It cannot be otherwise.

President Trump is reciprocating support for one of his biggest allies in the Senate. He took to Twitter Wednesday to promote Senator Rand Paul’s new book titled “The Case Against Socialism.”

The president said America was founded on liberty and independence, not government coercion and control. He added, Americans will continue to be free as long as he’s in the White House.

Donald J. Trump on Twitter: “Senator Rand Paul just wrote a great book, “The Case Against Socialism” which is now out. Highly recommended – as America was founded on LIBERTY & INDEPENDENCE – not government coercion, domination & control. We were born free, and will stay free, as long as I am your President! / Twitter”

The comments mirror his previous criticism against the Democrat Party. President Trump has accused several 2020 Democrat presidential candidates of embracing socialism by promoting certain policies like Medicare for All. Senator Paul’s new book highlights similar concerns, which he has recently discussed.

“I think even the Democrats worry about having someone with the actual label of socialism,” said Paul. “When I talk to Chuck Schumer and I see him in passing and say ‘well aren’t you so lucky that AOC is such a great spokesman for your economic model of socialism,’ he just kind of grumbles because I think he knows that socialism isn’t going to really sell.”

The Kentucky lawmaker predicts if Senator Bernie Sanders loses the Democrat nomination,  has a shot and would proceed with many of his far-left policies.
