Actually, all Democrats agree with him. They are just not willing to say it.
It reminds me of the 2008 presidential election when both Obama and Hillary came out against same-sex marriage. They were both for it, and both of them were lying between their teeth. But they couldn’t say what they actually thought.

More Democrats have come forward to denounce 2020 hopeful Beto O’Rourke’s recent proposal to confiscate semi-automatic firearms. While speaking to reporters on a conference call Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he doesn’t know of any other Democrat who agrees with O’Rourke.
In an appearance on CNN Wednesday, O’Rourke was left in silence after host Chris Cuomo told O’Rourke he didn’t think he would legally be able to confiscate citizen’s weapons.
