Plan for 5th Pullman area pot shop would be closer to Moscow

Supply and demand! Zero (legal) suppliers in Moscow; and tons of demand.

Plans are in the works to develop a 5th Pullman area marijuana retail shop, this time next to the Idaho stateline. The Whitman County Planning Department has received a conditional use permit application from a Premium Roast LLC to operate a pot shop at the old Crossroads Nursery on the Moscow Pullman Highway. The 8 acre site at the Northeast corner of Airport Road and State Route 270 is less than a mile from the border and the City of Moscow. The county’s planning department has already determined that the proposed pot shop complies with the State of Washington’s Environmental Policy Act. The Whitman County Board of Adjustment will consider the permit application during a public hearing on October 6th at 7:00 in the Public Service Building in Colfax. If approved this would be the Pullman area’s 5th pot shop. Three are operating in the city while one is in the county located on the Moscow Pullman Highway. Marijuana remains illegal in Idaho.
