I feel like I’m back in the 1970’s, with everyone talking about Global Cooling and the Coming Ice Age again.
Scientists have seen that CO2 is not the driving factor in global climate.
- Between 2000 and 2018, global temperature showed no significant increase despite a steep increase in carbon dioxide emissions from anthropogenic sources.
- The same was the case between the years 1940 and 1970.
When carbon dioxide concentration increases at a constant and steady rate and temperature doesn’t follow the pattern, we can be certain that carbon dioxide is not the primary driver of global temperature.
So if not CO2, then what? Well, what scientists have known for centuries: the sun.
NASA has also known this for decades. NASA had a site devoted to it, but that page has been pulled due to political pressure.
Current climate alarmism is driven by a political agenda, not a scientific one. The climate models universally make incorrect predictions, and yet we blindly run ahead because of the political agenda driving them.
