A Flood Watch has been issued for Whitman County. The National Weather Service in Spokane is predicting that up to an inch of rain could fall in some parts of the Palouse today. The heavy rain is expected to cause minor field flooding and rises in creeks and streams. Paradise Creek in Moscow is already up 3 and a half feet this morning. The creek is still 2 feet below minor flood stage. The Flood Watch ends at 4:00 this afternoon.
