Feds Collect Record High Taxes in First Quarter of Fiscal Year, Deficit Remains

The feds hauled in a record $1,084,840,000,000 in taxes in the first quarter of this fiscal year, reports CNS. That amounts to about seven grand per worker.

More than $300 billion was collected in January alone.
