Snowiest winter in Moscow in 100 years! 

Last month was the second snowiest February on record for Pullman/Moscow. 

The National Weather Service reports that Moscow had 45.6 inches of snow last month which finished second behind the nearly 50 inches of snow that fell a hundred years ago

Pullman had 36 inches of snow which missed the record by a tenth of an inch set in 1949

Both communities set records for snow days in February.  Moscow had 22 while Pullman had 17.  Pullman’s old record for snow days in February was 14 set in 1936. 

As one reader pointed out: Logos School had zero snow days in February 2019!

The National Weather Service report indicates that last month’s snow in Moscow was the most in the Inland Northwest.
