Burn Ban issued for Latah County as Air Quality Alert has been extended into next week

The Air Quality Alert for the Inland Northwest has been extended. Smoky conditions are now expected to continue into next week. The Air Quality Alert, which includes both Whitman and Latah Counties, has been extended to Wednesday. Smoke from regional wildfires will cause air quality to be unhealthy at times. The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued a burn ban for Latah County through Monday morning at 10:00. You can view an air quality forecast map from WSU here
