Whitman and Latah Counties Most Educated Counties in Washington and Idaho

You would hope so, given the two land grant universities in small, rural communities. 

A new survey ranks Whitman and Latah Counties as the most educated counties in Washington and Idaho.  Thestacker.com recently released its ranking highlighting the local counties that are home to Washington State University and the University of Idaho.

Latah County is the 47th most educated in the nation while Whitman County checks in 34th in the country.  Adams County immediately to the West of Whitman County ranks as Washington’s least educated.
