UI’s University House nearly complete

HosueI understand that the UI Architecture School designed this.

It’s so boxy-ugly. I hope they don’t try to advertise their program based on this design. It’s like looking at USSR-era building design: all function, zero form.

The long planned for new home for the University of Idaho’s President is nearly complete.  The roughly 2 million dollar 6,000 square foot University House was constructed at the site of the old President’s Residence.  The project was primarily funded by the UI Foundation.  Work began 2 years ago.  The Idaho State Board of Education first approved the project 5 years ago.  The University House on Nez Perce Drive on campus also has space for small gatherings.  The old President’s Residence was built in 1967.
