Trump selects Dan Coats to be Director of National Intelligence, Katie Walsh to be Deputy Chief of Staff, and Jay Clayton to be SEC Chairman.

Rex Tillerson , Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway : These are just a few of the people filling major roles in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration. Trump has also selected a number of New Yorkers, including Vincent Viola and Carl Icahn.

But some Cabinet and other West Wing positions remain unfilled. He has yet to name a secretary of agriculture and secretary of veterans affairs.

Trump must choose all his Cabinet members and appointments by his Jan. 20, 2017, inauguration and he will eventually need to fill about 4,000 positions in the government.
