Very disappointing, but understandable. It’s expensive to have a food establishment in the mall.
That’s one reason I’m surprised that Red Bento is moving over there.
The Smoky Mountain Pizzeria and Grill shut down its Moscow location at the Palouse Mall this week. According to the business’s website, the company decided not to review its lease at that location. Smoky Mountain Pizza had been in the mall for 10 years. The company says they are evaluating their options and hope to serve Moscow again in the future. Smoky Mountain Pizza still has 8 other locations with most of them in Southern Idaho.
