President Trump is urging the State Department to speed up the release of the remaining Hillary Clinton emails.
The president made the request Friday, as a part of his commitment to a transparent government.
The State Department still has about 40 thousand pages of documents pertaining to Clinton it needs to work through, amid a backlog of other Freedom of Information Act requests.
The plea also comes after the Justice Department lifted a gag order on an FBI informant in a Russian collusion investigation over a Uranium One deal, which may have involved Clinton during her tenure in the Obama administration.
