Paradise Creek in Moscow and Palouse River near Potlatch expected to rise near flood stage

Paradise Creek in Moscow is rising quickly.  The National Weather Service is predicting that the creek may approach flood stage tonight.  Paradise Creek was already up a half a foot this morning rising to 6 feet.  Flood stage in Moscow is just over 9 feet.  

Forecasters are predicting that the Palouse River near Potlatch will crest just below minor flood stage Friday morning.  River level modeling is predicting the Palouse to crest at just under 15 feet at 10:00.  15 feet is the minor flood stage for the Palouse River.  

The South Fork of the Palouse River through Pullman is not expected to rise anywhere near flood stage with this storm.
