New Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport Runway Opens Thursday

After years of planning and construction the ribbon will be cut Thursday on the new runway at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport.  Work on the new 7,100 foot runway began 3 years ago.

Thursday morning’s ribbon cutting ceremony is at 10:00 on the runway.  Several dignitaries will be on hand including U.S. Senator from Washington Maria Cantwell and local Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers.

The airport has been shut down since early September for the final construction work on the new runway.  Commercial flights will resume Friday.
