I wish everyone in favor of socialized medicine were forced to use it exclusively for 5 years. I’ve personally seen what happens under government-run healthcare, even when it’s considered the best in the world. Anyone with any money opts for a private doctor. There’s a reason for that.
Americans’ preferences for a government-run healthcare system versus a system based on private insurance are now divided. This marks a significant shift in attitudes from earlier this decade, when Americans consistently preferred the private insurance option.
Now, compare that to the second Gallup poll which says that “U.S. Healthcare Quality Ratings Among Lowest Since ’12”.
Could there be a reason that as the government takes more control of healthcare, people are less satisfied with it?
