CNBC: Obamacare deductibles are on the rise for 2017, along with monthly premiums

CNBC reports that an Obamacare family bronze-level plan costs $1,157/month.

The taxpayers pay $800 to this family to reduce the payment to $357/month.

Now here’s the kicker….after we all chip in to pay $13,884 a year to insure this family they still don’t receive insurance until they spend the $12,600 family deductible out of their pocket.

After they spend the $12,600 then they pay 40% and the government insurance pays 60%.

Did you follow all of that? It’s a great big shell game.

Obamacare deductibles on the rise for 2017, along with monthly premiums

A deductible is the amount of money someone must personally pay out of pocket for health services before insurance covers the remaining cost. HealthPocket also found that that average premiums, or monthly payments, for bronze plans nationwide will increase 21 percent next year for people who earn too much to qualify for Obamacare subsidies.
