Brief: Make-A-Wish recipient hosting sno-cone and lemonade stand

This is great! I just hope she doesn’t fall afoul of the the feds.

Shay Connell, an 8-year-old Pullman resident who was born with a congenital heart defect, is hosting a sno-cone and lemonade stand from 2-5 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Center Street and Finch Way in Pullman.

Connell was granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2017 and is partnering with Marissa and Jack Carper, the children of one of her wish granters, to host the stand as a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. All donations will go to the foundation.

Connell will serve sno-cones, lemonade and baked goods.
