Disney Moves More Than 2,000 Jobs OUT Of California And TO Florida Citing Florida’s Pro-Business Policies

Disney has chosen to move more than 2,000 jobs out of California and head east to the sunshine state.

Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) Division, announced in a letter to employees that the Southern California based company would be moving almost every employee in DPEP who doesn’t work directly with the Disneyland Park out of California and to a new campus outside of Orlando, Florida.

Deadline reported last week that the announced change was largely due to Florida being a more pro-business environment.

More people bailing on California.
