Idaho’s Rep. Labrador and Sen. Crapo set series of town meetings this week

Crapo won’t be in Moscow, but Labrador will.

Idaho’s congressional delegation – both of whom running for re-election this year – are holding meetings this week in north central Idaho.

Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador, who is also running for a fourth term, will hold several “Conversations with the Congressman” meetings in the region this week. The times and locations include:

Thursday

Moscow – Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center, 1724 E. F St., 2 to 3 p.m.

Orofino – Best Western Lodge at River’s Edge, 615 Main St., 5 to 6 p.m.

Friday

Lewiston – Labrador’s district office, 313 D St., Suite 107, 9 to 10 a.m.

Nezperce – Community Hall, 602 Fourth Ave., 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Grangeville – Super 8 Motel, 801 W. South First St., 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Labrador faces Boise attorney James Piotrowski in November.

U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo kicks things off at 1 p.m. Wednesday when he’ll meet with constituents at Onaway City Park, near the corner of Second Street and Onaway Road.

The Onaway trip marks the 198th Idaho community Crapo has visited since October 2014, when he set a goal of visiting every incorporated town in the state (along with a few unincorporated places). He’ll complete that milestone Thursday, when he visits the town of Warner in the Silver Valley.

Crapo is seeking a fourth consecutive six-year term in the Senate. He faces Boise businessman Jerry Sturgill in the November general election, along with Constitution Party candidate Ray Writz of Coeur d’Alene.
