Who knew that we had outside gang problems in Pullman! Via the LMT:
Police say gang violence may have played a role in a shooting early Sunday morning on College Hill that left two western Washington men in the hospital.
Pullman Police Chief Gary Jenkins said the names of the victims – ages 19 and 17 – have not been released to the public because of possible retaliation against them. Both have been released from Pullman Regional Hospital.
“We are investigating the possibility this is gang-related from out of the area,” Jenkins said, noting witness interviews are still ongoing. “We don’t want to place (the victims) in danger; there is a possibility the people involved in this may try to target them.”
