I’m liking Foreman more and more. He sounds quite libertarian at times. Via the Daily News:
Foreman said residents need to purchase health care on the free market.
“This might sound cruel, but it’s the absolute truth,” Foreman said. “No one has a right to health care under the Constitution. It is a product in our system. Like it or not, that’s the way it is.”
He also said the welfare program in place is doing an injustice to the people who are receiving welfare because they never seem to get off it.
“It’s not sustainable,” he said.
Comstock and Nelson both said they support the expansion.
