BOISE – A woman whose 3-year-old daughter was killed in a mass stabbing in Boise has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the apartment complex owners and managers, the man charged in the killing and the tenant the lawsuit says let him stay at her apartment.
Bifituu Kadir filed the lawsuit earlier this month against Northwest Real Estate Capital Corporation, a nonprofit that specializes in affordable housing and owns the Wylie Street Station apartments.
Timmy Earl Kinner Jr. is accused of stabbing nine people – including six children – during a birthday party in June. Ruya Kadir died of her injuries.
Kinner is charged with one count of first-degree murder and eight counts of aggravated battery. A judge last summer entered not guilty pleas on Kinner’s behalf.
