Record cold in International Falls, Minnesota

NewImageBeats record set 93 years ago. The Minnesota city apparently didn’t get the global warming memo!

Residents of International Falls woke up this morning to a thermometer reading of -36°F (-38.7°C).

This breaks the previous record low for Dec. 27 of -32°F set in 1924, according to the National Weather Service office in Duluth.

That minus 36°F is the actual temperature, not a wind chill!
