Chicago Courts blocks administration from enforcing sanctuary laws

The judge cited a Supreme Court ruling stating that the federal government cannot block state governments from passing their own laws.

Does this same ruling apply to homosexual marriage and abortion?

. Nope. There’s no way to throw homo marriage back to the states to enable state bans. Abortion laws will continue to be more and more restrictive until they cross the non-viability line and get overturned due to violating “undue burden”.
